Saturday May 4th I’ll be reading the opening extract of my metafictional work-in-progress, a historical thriller. Famous metafictional novels include: Hamlet; Don Quixote; The Slaughter House Five and the Handmaids Tale - or think Phoebe Waller-Bridge in Fleabag when she does that thing of talking directly to the camera!
