Blaenavon Launch Event Images.

Updated: Sep 25, 2022

What a blast! Yesterday at the UNESCO World Heritage Site Museum in Blaenavon. Almost 40 people turned up to hear about my latest book Rare Earth. After a fine introduction from my old friend Jackie Huybs, I read Chapter 1 'Cold Heart', followed by some questions and banter and a 'lighter' short story 'I Started but I Never Finished'. Questions continued and I ended with my award winning short story, 'Taste the Darkness'.

Huybs is a Belgian name isn't it? The same as one of the characters, local councillor and lawyer Gussie Mertens!

I'll never forget yesterday, it was fab. Rare Earth came home, back to its roots and Blaenavon now has another story.
